(LOS ANGELES) -- Los Angeles Police Department Central Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public's help in locating the driver responsible for seriously injuring a pedestrian crossing the street.

A woman crossing eastbound on Holmes Avenue south of Slauson Avenue at about 8:20 p.m. on March 6 was hit by a vehicle heading north on Holmes Avenue. Detectives have few leads on the case, aside from a description of the vehicle as a green, four-door car.
