Breaking News Garth Brooks Returning to the Road, Plans World Tour for 2014

For years, Garth Brooks has refrained from touring because he wanted to be home for his three young daughters.  Well, they're not so young anymore, and that means the star is finally free to go back out on the road.

"We're going on a world tour in 2014," Garth unexpectedly told ABC's Robin Roberts on Monday's Good Morning America.  "Our baby" — that's Garth's daughter Allie —  "is a senior in high school and we've talked about it. And all my babies are fine with it."

Referring to his wife, Trisha Yearwood, Garth added, "And Ms. Yearwood is fine with it and so now I get to do what I love to do, which is play music. I get to be with the person I want to be with, which is Ms. Yearwood. And my children are off on their own."

Garth may have hinted at a tour being in the works with an email in October that read, "The sevens have aligned. It has begun… Thank you for believing…love, g."  Sevens was the name of Garth's 1997 album.  It's also one of the highest-paying combinations on a slot machine.

Garth officially announced he was retiring from touring in 2000, though he has played select concerts since then, and has also performed a Las Vegas residency.
