American Country Awards to Be Handed Out Tonight

The fourth annual American Country Awards will be handed out Tuesday night live from Las Vegas on FOX, but a few of the night's honorees have already been revealed. Taylor Swift will appear via satellite from Australia to receive the first-ever ACA World Wide Artist Award in honor of her global popularity.Brad Paisley is set to receive the Video Visionary Award in honor of his innovative videos.  He also will be performing on the show.

Luke BryanDarius RuckerJake OwenFlorida Georgia LineSheryl CrowRandy Houser and Justin Moore also are appearing on the ACAs along with Thomas Rhett, who will give his first awards show performance on Tuesday night's show. He's up against Florida Georgia Line, Kip Moore, Cassadee Popeand Kacey Musgraves in the New Artist category.

Says Thomas, "That's just the coolest thing in the world, and I'm honored to be in good company, and if I win, that'd be awesome. If I don't, I'm just glad I'm in the nominations."

As for Kip, he's not campaigning that hard for fan votes, but he knows his fans are out there really working to get him an ACA win or two.

Kip tells ABC News Radio, "I'm not one of those artists that's, you know, posting every day, you know, about vote this and that, but I am grateful for those guys that are voting without me asking them. They're supportive of me."

Jason Aldean is hoping to take a few of the ACA's guitar trophies as well. He's already won seven of them, and Jason says those wins only get sweeter with time.

He explains, "I think at the end of the day when my career is done or maybe not as hot as it is right now, all these awards that you've kind of have collected over the years, I think as much as they mean now, I think will probably mean a hundred times more then, you know, when you go back and look back and reflect on your career and things like that."

Little Big Town has quite a few nominations, but they won't be able to attend the show due to a previous commitment. Watching the show from home in Nashville will be odd for the group since they attend country award shows all the time.

LBT's Kimberly Schlapman tells ABC News Radio, "We've never had to stay home. We've been going to award shows for 15 years.  You know, half the time we weren't nominated, so yeah, we don't know. We wish were gonna be there, but it'll be cool."

She adds, "Do you have to be present to win?"

The American Country Awards take place at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas this year, and that's just one of the many Sin City hotels the members of Lady Antebellum have visited over the years. They've stayed at the MGM Grand, the Cosmopolitan and Caesars Palace while performing in Vegas, but the group's Charles Kelley prefers the Wynn over all the others.

He says, "We stayed in a suite at the Wynn one time for a private show. I felt like, honestly, Tony Montana[from Scarface]. I was like, 'Say hello to my giant bathtub.'" (LADY ANTEBELLUM, LITTLE BIG TOWN AND KIP MOORE AUDIO IS ABC 1-ON-1)
