Taylor Swift received a nomination Thursday for the 71st Annual Golden Globes, announced Thursday morning in L.A. It was her second nomination in the category of Best Original Song from a Motion Picture.
Taylor and fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff have been nominated together for "Sweeter than Fiction," the song they co-wrote for the movie One Chance, based on the real-life story of Britain's Got Talent winnerPaul Potts. Last year, she was up for "Safe and Sound," which she wrote for The Hunger Games, but lost toAdele's "Skyfall."
Speaking of The Hunger Games, Coldplay's "Atlas," from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is also nominated, as is U2's "Ordinary Love," the song they wrote for the movie Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. And Justin Timberlake is up for "Please Mr. Kennedy," which he co-wrote for the movie Inside Llewyn Davis, in which he co-stars.
The Golden Globe Awards will be handed out Sunday, January 12 on NBC.
