The newest location in Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant chain has some gun-right advocates fighting mad. A “No Guns Permitted” sign on the door of the restaurant in Woodbridge, VA caused hundreds of people to comment against the policy on the restaurant’s Facebook page. The staff posted a message on Facebook saying that while they respected every person’s right to bear arms, the no-weapons policy was a result of insurance regulations.

Though some people have thanked the Toby Keith’s location for not allowing guns, others have expressed anger at the policy, calling Toby a “Nazi” and saying he didn’t respect his country music audience. It should be noted that Toby’s involvement with each I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant is different for each location, so he may not even be part of the Woodbridge location’s day-to-day operations. According to Forbes magazine, Toby makes an estimated $12 million a year from the restaurants.
